Understanding your symptoms

Do you need a labiaplasty?

Only an individual assessment can answer that. Book a labiaplasty consultation if you're concerned with any of these conditions.

  • Rubbing or discomfort with cycling and exercise
  • Labial tissue catching in underwear
  • Pain or irritation in fitted clothing
  • Discomfort during intercourse
  • Persistent sensitivity or soreness
  • Frequently needing to adjust labial tissue
  • Protruding or asymmetrical labia
  • Concerns about pigmentation or appearance
  • Feeling self-conscious in clothes or intimacy
  • Recurring UTIs or thrush needing medical assessment

Labial size, shape and colour vary naturally. Infection, pain and recurrent thrush can have other causes; labiaplasty is not an established cure for UTIs or thrush.

Designed for Women's Intimate Areas - Why we use the CO2RE Intima Laser for Labiaplasty

The Intima laser is perfectly calibrated for the ergonomics of women’s intimate areas and our proven method of Labia Trimming. It uses fractional CO2 pulsed light waves to make surgical cuts, tighten and resurface and, because the Intima laser seals blood vessels as it cuts, bleeding is very minimal.

As the laser doesn't touch the skin, there's no pressure applied to surrounding tissue, thus minimising discomfort from bruising, pain, or swelling. We also use the Intima laser for vaginal rejuvenation to treat conditions such as vaginal laxity where the laser stimulates collagen and elastin to tighten vaginal walls.

Our clinicians are expert in the CO2RE® Intima laser and we have treated hundreds of women, achieving outstanding results.

Feel comfortable in your everyday

Small moments.
A meaningful difference.

Getting dressed without adjusting. Enjoying a bike ride. Feeling relaxed with a partner. When discomfort gets in the way, a sensitive conversation can be the first step towards understanding your options.

We listen to what matters to you, assess the cause of your symptoms and explain whether labiaplasty could help. There is no single “right” appearance for labia, and no pressure to choose surgery.

Seen. Heard. Understood.

It can be about
far more than appearance.

The physical discomfort of extended or mishapen labia is a genuine medical condition and a real reason to seek advice. We understand how personal — and sometimes difficult — that conversation can be.

If medical advice you've received has been to try unflattering undergarments to alleviate friction caused by labial enlargement, we know that's not addressing your condition and we can help. Labiaplasty is not a procedure offered by the NHS.

Labiaplasty · 5 March 2026

“Amanda took the time to listen to my concerns. I never felt rushed . And my skilled surgeon Dr Hala was absolutely amazing. On the day of my procedure they both made me feel totally at ease. Amanda held my hand during the numbing injections. The outcome has exceeded my expectations, and I feel so much more confident and comfortable within my own body.”

Your questions, answered

About laser labiaplasty.

Is Laser Labiaplasty safe?

It is surgery and carries risks, including bleeding, infection, scarring, wound-healing problems and altered sensation. Your clinician will assess suitability and discuss risks, alternatives and aftercare before you decide.

Is Labiaplasty a cosmetic or medical procedure?

It may be considered for appearance or functional discomfort. Consultation assesses whether labial tissue contributes to symptoms. Naturally larger labia do not necessarily need treatment.

Will having laser labiaplasty affect sensation in my intimate areas?

The technique aims to preserve sensation, but changes or reduced sensitivity are possible. Your clinician will explain this risk and what to expect during healing.

What is the recovery time following a laser labiaplasty?

Recovery varies. Discomfort and swelling are common early on. The clinic advises around six weeks before sex or vigorous exercise, subject to healing and clinical clearance. Discuss time off work at consultation.

When will I see and feel the effects of a laser labiaplasty?

Changes become clearer as swelling settles. Healing and tissue remodelling can continue for several months; final results may take up to six months. Follow-up helps monitor recovery.
